Caucasus 2011: Part 1.
From now on we'll start our photo-blog from the Caucasus, so there're gonna be 54 episodes, each about another day of our travel - the first day wasn't too exciting, though, surely the least interesting from among the others - as we had so many adventures this yeary ;) So the first day was largely about adjusting to the new reality, looking around etc. Pictures published in our photo-blog will almost 100% not appear in our gallery which will appear soon, we hope. Lets' start.

Changes, changes, changes...
As you've probably noticed, our site has been completely rebuilt, or rather built again from the very beginning, which you'll like, we hope ;) Nevertheless, we're aware there are plenty of things to be polished and added. We will try to translate all the content written in Polish into English. If you have any remarks, we'll be glad to read them, so don't be shy - write to us ;)

Georgia and Armenia 2011
This year we spent 54 days cycling in Georgia and Armenia, out of which much more in Georgia. We enjoyed it so much we would return there any moment. A printed travelogue from this trip is going to be published sometime in late spring ;)

"Wind Rules in the Kingdom of the Elements" - our Icelandic story in "Rowertour"
You can now buy the latest "Rowertour", the only Polish monthly devoted to bicycle travels. There you can read our 10-page illustrated story about the 2010 bicycle adventure in Iceland. Ola has been on the cover for the third time ;) Highly recommended, although might be slightly hard to read as it's only available in Polish ;)
"At dawn we notice it's got rather cold, the chill seems to be coming from the tent's floor. „It must be coming from the river which is flooding us", I' jokie. I look out of the tent and notice the chill really comes from the river which is flooding us. With every single second the level of water is rising,, we jump barefoot into the river and try to save our tent and the things within and around it. The water is rather cold, as it's coming from a glacier we can see far in the horizon. Wind suddenly stops to be a problem - the river has become a real problem. We carry our bags and equipment to the road and continue to ride against the strong wind and heavy rain. I don't believe in miracles, but a kind of miracle happened to us on that very moment - after a few kilometers the rain and wind stop and the sun comes out. We hang our wet clothes and the tent on a road sign and look in amazement how everything dries up fast. Talking about a miracle would be overusing this sacred term if it wasn't for the fact that the wind begins to blow exactly from behind. So, virtually efortlessly we roll across the infinite lava fields covered with fabulously green moss"
